Overview 🔎
The goal of this project was to create an augmented reality tour of the Rosa Parks building for the 20th anniversary of the School of Human and Social Sciences (ESHS). Using 3D modeling and interactive navigation, the experience allows users to explore the building virtually while fostering engagement and curiosity.
FEATURES 🎨
The main features include an interactive 3D environment where users can navigate through the building intuitively. The experience offers accurate architectural modeling to ensure realism and provides an engaging tool for promotional and educational purposes, such as open houses or student fairs.
CHALLENGES🤔Â
The primary challenges involved optimizing the 3D model for performance without sacrificing detail and ensuring smooth and intuitive navigation for first-time users of immersive experiences. Creating an experience accessible across various devices while maintaining its visual quality was also a key hurdle.
IMPACT 💥
The impact has been significant, as the experience provided a modern and innovative way for prospective students and visitors to connect with the ESHS campus. This project has positioned immersive technologies as a valuable tool for education and outreach, garnering interest from faculty and event attendees alike.
